My name is Marie Fredriksson-Söderman and I live with my sons and cats in the country-side on one of the beautiful islands in Lake Mälaren, in the close vicinity of Stockholm City, Sweden.

I have an academic past in arts & humanities, languages and IT, but also a one-year make-up and wig design training, and an equally long practical art education. I have worked in museums, for publishing companies, with theatre productions, as a radio presenter, and in trade, and I have also participated in an international IT/Art project. I also make arts and crafts, mostly jewellery, and you are welcome to visit my website STUDIO MARS.

I started my first webshop with collectibles in 2007, which later turned into two separate shops: MFK Collectibles in 2010 and Teddy Bears & Friends in 2011. In 2021 I renamed the MFK Collectibles website to Cabinet of Dreams.

I have always been a collector. Books, teddy bears, vinyl records, trinket boxes, vintage perfumes… During the years I have been selling collectibles online, I have had the pleasure of meeting many other collectors. To me we all seem to share a feeling of passion and happiness, and sometimes quite a craze for nostalgia.
