Gunnar Nylund

Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) was a Swedish ceramic designer, best known as the artistic director of Rörstrand and at Danish porcelain factories. Nylund was trained in architecture and sculpture. He made a great number of monumental pieces in Sweden and abroad. He also designed crystal for well-known Swedish glass-works. His works are characterized by a classical simplicity.
