ARABIA Finland Annual Plate 1979 (Årstallrik 1979, Vuosilautanen 1979). The 1979 plate is the fourth of a series of annual plates with a Kalevala motif. The series is limited, which gives it a considerable value as a collector’s item.

The plate was designed by Arabia artist Raija Uosikkinen. It measures 20 cm / 8 inches. Made of stoneware. It comes in very good condition. There are some minor marks (colour?) on the backside as well as a small chip-like uneveness on the backside edge lining (according to my eye this is not a regular chip, but due to a minor error in the production). This particular plate comes without original box.
