Description

The year 1976 annual plate in series Swedish Christmas from Elgporslin (Elg Porcelain), Sweden is called Good Old Sweden / Sundborn. In the center it shows a winter scene – The Yard and Washhouse also sometimes referred to as Brita and her sled (ca 1895) – originally made by famous Swedish artist Carl Larsson. The outer border in a light blue colour is a drawing by Birger Värnild and shows a traditional Swedish wintery landscape with a church, a Santa and a Christmas tree.

The plate measures Ø 19,5 cm / approx. 7,5 inches and was made in a world wide edition of 3000 numbered copies, this being number 391. No box.
