Description
The 1977 annual plate in series Swedish Christmas from Elgporslin (Elg Porcelain), Sweden is called Good Old Sweden Skansen / Älvrosgården. The picture shows a traditional farmstead originally from the historical province Härjedalen in the central parts of Sweden. The farmstead, called Älvrosgården, was moved to Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum during the early 1900s. The plate measures Ø 19,5 cm / approx. 7,5 inches. The drawing was made by Birger Värnild. The border is in dark blue with lettering and the Swedish Three Crowns symbol in gold.
This annual plate was made in a world wide edition of 3000 numbered copies, this being number 497.
